About the Mission:

The family of Alwin M. Baldauf has requested Patriot Guard Riders participate in his funeral services. Mr. Baldauf passed on April 21 2024 at the age of 92.  

Mr. Baldauf was born in Offingen, Germany June 15 1931. He came to America when he was a teenager and soon after joined the Army Reserve from 1954 to 1961 and served in active duty for 11 months and seven days 1955 and 1956.  Mr. Baldauf was attached to 9th recon company 9th infantry Division. He received an honorable discharge on October 1961 at the rank of Specialist 3rd Class and earned the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Army Of Occupation Medal (Germany).

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Members will meet at the cemetery office with a flag line for arrival of the cortege. Follow the supervisors of the cemetery instructions. There is another mission at the same time. Do what you can to support our fallen heroes.
