About the Mission:
The family of US Army Veteran Thomas R. Coticchio, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Coticchio passed 24 July 2025 at the age of 80 surrounded by his family.
Mr. Coticchio entered the Army on 29 November 1965 and trained as a Combat Engineer (MOS-12B20. He served his nation for 24 months on active duty, with 12 months in Vietnam. Mr. Coticchio was honorably discharged at 16th Engineers Battalion, 1st Armored Division, Fort Hood, Texas on 28 November 1967. For his service he was awarded; National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ 60 Device and a Sharpshooter Badge (M-14).
