About the Mission:

The family of United States Marine Corps Veteran Wayne W. Westberg has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Westberg passed 2 August 2025 surrounded by his family.

Mr. Westberg entered the Marine Corps on 31 May 1965, serving his nation with 4 years of dedicated service as an Assault Amphibious Vehicle Crewman (MOS-1833).  His active duty time included a 13 month tour of duty in Vietnam. Mr. Westberg was honorably discharged as Sergeant (E-5), on 30 April 1969. He was awarded; Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/1960 Device and a Marksman Badge (M-14).

Special Information:

Members will stand flag line for arriving family. The family is having a private service with military honors at 10 AM. There is no cemetery or church service. Thank you for supporting our veterans. Water will be provided by the funeral home.
