About the Mission:

 Mr. Ambrosecchia honorably served his country from May 1951 to April 1953. He was attached to 1824 D Battery 633 AAA Gn BN and attained a rank of Corporal. He was awarded the Army of Occupation Medal Germany. Upon returning home he worked at Idlewild Airport, now JFK, and then went to work for the city of New York in Water Pollution Control. The family has requested the Patriot Guard to stand and honor him for his service. To view obituary: Obituary

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

Bring your flags to stand in a flag line for dignified transfer to mass at St. Patrick RC Church, 9 Clinton Ave., Bayshore, NY. After mass a escort will proceed to LINC.

Second Stage - Special Information:

Members can stage in the central roadway across from the chapels to leave room for services. Bring your flags and dress according to weather. Procession should arrive by 12:20pm
