About the Mission:

The family of Paul Edgar Troidle, DDS, has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Dr. Troidle, 84, died peacefully on January 17, 2026, at Eddy Memorial Geriatric Nursing Home.

Born in Rochester, NY, Paul grew up in Albany, New York.  He attended Vincentian Institute, went on to attend the College of the Holy Cross, and earned his doctorate from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He was called to active duty from the US Army Reserve during the Vietnam War, on 10 October 1967, and served for just over 2 years on active duty as a dentist. His active duty time included an 11 month tour of duty with the 10th Dental Detachment, Eighth Army, in Seoul, South Korea. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain (O-3), on 3 November 1969, and completed his inactive reserve obligation on 23 April 1973.  For his service, he was awarded; a National Defense Service medal and an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal - Korea.

Following his military service, Dr. Troidle returned to Albany and opened his dental practice on Western Avenue.

Special Information:

Staging at the church with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests during Visitation, 09:00 - 10:15 am, with church services following at 10:30.  members will then escort to St. Agnes Cemetery, 48 Cemetery Ave, Menands, NY 12204, where services will take place in the mausoleum.
