About the Mission:

The family of Vietnam Era Veteran Blake Lloyd Nickerson III has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Blake passed 6 May 2025 at the age of 76 surrounded by his family.

Blake entered the US Army 6 July 1970 and trained at Fort Lee Virginia as a Armorer/Supply Specialist (MOS-76Y20). He served his nation for 3 years on active duty with 23 months in Heidelberg, Germany. Blake was honorably discharged 5 July 1973 at Seneca Army Depot Romulus, NY with reserve obligation ending 1 March 1976.

After his military service, Blake worked for Kodak in Rochester, NY and retired after 25 years. He also was involved with his community as a Fireman for 25 yrs, volunteered on the Livonia Ambulance and drove School Bus for Kemps School Bus service.
