About the Mission:

The family of Marine Corps veteran Daniel Edward Cotter has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Daniel passed 13 April 2025 at the age of 87 with his family at his side.

Daniel entered the Marine Corps on 7 February 1957, and served his nation 3 years as a Radio Telegraph Operator (MOS-2533). He was stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina with the 2nd Marine Division, Fleet Marine Force. He was honorably discharged as Lance Corporal on 5 February 1960, with reserve obligations ending 6 February 1963. Daniel was awarded a Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal.
