About the Mission:

The family of William Clark has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Clark of Angola, NY passed away on 12 December 2023.

Korean War Veteran William Clark served our nation for 2 years on active duty in the US Army from 1952-1954, with an Army MOS of 1795-Tank Ammunition Section Chief. He had 16 months of foreign duty in Korea, assigned to the 24th Reconnaissance Company, 24th Infantry Division. Mr. Clark was honorably discharged from active duty on 15 September 1954 with the rank of Sergeant (E-5), and he earned the following awards: Army Presidential Unit Citation Ribbon; National Defense Service Medal; Korean Service Medal; and United Nations Service Medal (Korea.)

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

PGR will provide a respectful flag line for arrival of the family and friends. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, followed by dignified transfer and short escort to Lakeside Cemetery, 4810 Camp Road, Hamburg, NY 14075 for interment with Military Honors.

Acknowledging that this Mission conflicts with Wreath Across America events in the region, please do your best to ensure that Korean War Veteran William Clark receives the honors he has earned. Thank you for your dedication.
