About the Mission:
The family of Russell C. Graham has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Russell, 89, passed away peacefully in his Catskill home Thursday, July 17, 2025.
Born in Margaretville, NY, Russell entered active duty in the US Army on 22 November 1954, serving as a Heavy Vehicle Driver (MOS 642.10). He completed almost 2 years of active duty, including a year and one half of overseas duty with the 12th Transportation Company, near Heidelberg, Germany. He was honorably discharged on 7 November 1956 at the rank of Private First Class (T), and for his service, was awarded the US Army Good Conduct Medal.
After his military service, Russell was a Sergeant for the New York State Department of Corrections for 50 years. During his tenure there, he served as Shop Steward of NYSCOPBA, Council 82, and team leader for the Facility Color Guard.

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am, followed by military honors. Interment to take place at the family's convience at a later date.
