About the Mission:

The family of John P. Compitello has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation at his final military Honors. SP-4 John Compitello served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. His commendations include; Good Conduct Medal and Sharpshooter Badge - Rifle (M-14).

Upon discharge, John dedicated his career to telecommunications, beginning at AT&T and later serving in executive roles at International Paper Company, the Bank of New York, and Goldman Sachs. In his final professional chapter, he guided the City of New York as a telecommunications consultant. He commuted to Manhattan for over 40 years. John was also a passionate member of the Farmingdale soccer community.
