About the Mission:

Every year DHL Commercial Airlines has Christmas trees loaded onto a plane to deliver to troops stationed overseas in order for them to enjoy a part of Christmas while being away from home. The trees will be escorted from Dees' nursery in Oceanside aboard tractor trailers. Patriot Guard Riders has been asked to participate in the escort led by LEO to the DHL terminal. Members will assist in unloading trees from trucks to the staging for loading onto the aircraft.

Special Information:

There will be a ceremony at 10am with a kickstand up of 11:15am. If members go in a cage, I am not sure where you will be in the procession. Once at DHL, you will have to park in front of the building and walk in to area where trees will be loaded. Have iD with you just in case. There will be a luncheon for attendees after the loading.
