About the Mission:

This veteran honorably served this country from August 1957 to August 1961 attached to the USS Delta (AR-9), the lead ship in the Delta-class repair ships. He attained the rank of SM2 being awarded the Good Conduct Medal.

After his service he worked for Con Edison until his retirement. He then opened a safety business with his daughter that tests the masks for fire departments in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. He was also a member of the Deer Park Fire Department. The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him.
