About the Mission:

This veteran faithfully and honorably executed his service to this country from June 1964 to June 1967. His specialty was an Infantry Assaultman trained in the use of rocket launchers, and portable flame throwers. He served overseas in Vietnam for 13 months. He attained the rank of Sergeant, being awarded the Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal,Vietnam Service Medal w/ 2 Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/1960 Device, Rifle Marksman Badge and Expert Badge - Pistol.

He then went on to work for Bell Telephone, but after an accident and his injuries from service, he became disabled. He was heavily involved in the creation of the Vietnam Memorial on Bald Hill in Farmingville, NY. The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him for his service.
