About the Mission:

The family of US Army Veteran Joseph F. Schaab has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors service and Celebration of Life. Joseph passed 25 May 2025 at the age of 88 surrounded by his family.

He entered the Army on 22 April 1960 at Fort Dix, NJ and trained as a Mason (MOS-513-10) attached to "B" Company, 86th Engineers Battalion at Fort Dix. Joseph served his nation honorably for 24 months, stateside. He was discharged at Personnel Center Fort Dix on 1 May 1962, with reserve obligation concluding 21 April 1966.

After his service, Joseph was the founder and operator of Apex Masonry, leaving his mark on many homes throughout Western NY.

Special Information:

Staging at the Aldi's parking lot for the 1/2 mile ride to the honorees home.  Members will form flag line at the home of Joseph F. Schaab by request of family and his son-in-law, Don Hays (Cheech). Military honors and a Celebration of Life will be conducted at 1:30 pm. Water will be provided and thank you for standing for our veterans.
