About the Mission:
The family of Gerald G. "Gerry" Trudell has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Gerald, 66, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at home in Queensbury, NY with his family and beloved dog by his side.
Born March 13, 1959 in Saranac Lake, NY, Gerry graduated from Saranac Lake Central High School in 1977. He enlisted in the United States Army on 9 February 1978, and was trained as a Military Policeman (MOS 91B10. His active duty time included 2 years and 8 months assigned to the 202nd Military Police Company, stationed at Giessen, in the state of Hesse, West Germany. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Specilist 4th Class (E-4) on 6 February 1981, and completed his inactive reserve obligation on 4 January 1984. For his service, he was awarded a US Army Good Conduct Medal.
