About the Mission:
The family of Jack J. Kegan has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Jack, 93, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Glens Falls Hospital with his family by his side.
Jack proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Upon his discharge, he joined the Army National Guard where he continued to serve until his retirement at the rank of Staff Sergeant in 1992.
Jack was employed as a machinist at General Electric in Fort Edward for many years. He also loved motorcycles and was a champion motorcycle racer in the 1960s. He and his brother, Bill, owned and operated a motorcycle repair shop where they enjoyed working together.

Special Information:
We will stand a flag line until Noon, then break for a memorial service. After the service, we will stand a flag line for a dignified transfer, and then escort to Union Cemetery in Fort Edward, where will stand a flag line for a dignified transfer, and then military honors and plaque presentation.
