About the Mission:

Monday, November 10th, the Chango Elementary School will have their Veterans Day “Meet and Greet”. They are inviting veterans to be in uniform or wear anything (even a hat), to share your branch of service. Please arrive by 8:45 so we can line everyone up on the sidewalk in front of our building. The children will exit their buses around 8:55 that morning, ready to shake your hands as they enter school. You are also invited to have coffee and pastries directly following our “Meet and Greet” in the cafeteria. A group of 2nd graders will have a special song to sing for the veterans in there as well. We love to make this day memorable and special for our veterans, our Chango students and staff, and the community. Thank you so much for being a part of this special day and for your service to this great country!
