About the Mission:
This United States Army Veteran served honorably for this country until her retirement. She served in Iraqi Freedom from June 2005 to May 2006, attached to MD Hospital Combat Detachment 2, Forward Company. Upon release from active duty, she returned to Combat Support Hospital, Detachment 2, Fort Totten, NY. She served as a Surgical Nurse, eventually becoming a Mental Health Nurse. She attained the rank of Major, being awarded; Army Commendation Medal (2nd Award), Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal (5th Award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal w/ “M” Device (2nd Award), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon and an Overseas Training Ribbon.
Patriot Guard Riders has been requested to stand and honor her for her service to this country and military personnel.

Special Information:
Meet RC Mike at front gate for instructions. Frank R. Bell funeral home will be bringing this veteran into Calverton. The funeral home is supposed to depart Brooklyn at 09:30am and take 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours for the trip, making eta 11:15 to 11:30. There is a 12 noon time slot for service at Calverton.
