About the Mission:
This veteran honorably served this country from February 1950 to December 1992. During this time, he was deployed three times, serving first with Co 1, 165th Infantry and then 1st Battalion, 106th Infantry. He attained the rank of Sergeant Major prior to retirement. He had started in the ROTC prior to enlistment.
He was an American Legion Rider, riding even in his eighties in Florida. He was instrumental in American Legions in East Hampton, NY and in Florida. He was always highly patriotic and proud of his service. He was a member of the NYCPD Highway 3 until retirement from the City. This veterans cremains and his wife, Wendy Capri, an NYPD Detective from sex crimes will be buried together.
The family has asked Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him.
